How does Pay It Forward Work?

The Pay It Forward Coffee concept offers a free coffee from customers’ donations. In practice it works as follows:

  • When in line for your order, you donate money for a future coffee, for a future patron when you pay for your coffee.
  • The following customers ordering coffee would get their order for free. The Donor also can say that they’re paying for the next customer.
  • Alternately, The Reciever can Pay It Forward to the next customer.
  • When there are Pay It Forward funds available, the barista can decide to provide an act of kindness for anyone coming in, especially for those people in need.
  • Baristas are encouraged to explain the idea behind Pay It Forward and passing on kindness to everyone they serve.

The Flagstaff Peace Day Mission

People Everywhere Are Caring for Everyone

P.E.A.C.E.

P.E.A.C.E aims to bring awareness of International Peace Day which is every year on September 21 as designated by the U.N. in 2001 to the citizens of Flagstaff and all of Northern Arizona. We seek to encourage citizens to adopt the mantra “Who Will You Make Peace With?” through respect and tolerance for others.
